JACKSON -- Joe Cooper Randol, 79, of Jackson died Sunday, March 10, 1996, at his home. He was born Nov. 16, 1916, in Cape Girardeau County, to Luke and Clara Shrock Randol. He married Madeline Senn on Dec. 9, 1943. Randol was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Altenthal-Journs American Legion Post 158 in Jackson. He was an Army veteran of World War II and had been employed by MFA in Jackson for many years before retiring in 1982...

JACKSON -- Joe Cooper Randol, 79, of Jackson died Sunday, March 10, 1996, at his home.

He was born Nov. 16, 1916, in Cape Girardeau County, to Luke and Clara Shrock Randol. He married Madeline Senn on Dec. 9, 1943.

Randol was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Altenthal-Journs American Legion Post 158 in Jackson. He was an Army veteran of World War II and had been employed by MFA in Jackson for many years before retiring in 1982.

Survivors are his wife; three sons, Ronnie Randol of Gordonville, Doug Randol of Tilsit and Dave Randol of Cody, Wyo.; a daughter, Glenda Randol of Chula Vista, Calif.; a brother, Smith Randol of Jackson; a sister, Evelyn Friedrichs of Oak Ridge; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. and an American Legion Honor Guard service at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson, with Monsignor Edward Eftink officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
