MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Joe Eugene Allmon, 75, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Feb. 5, 1927, in Hickory Ridge, Ark., son of Everett and Rovilla Waddle Allmon. He married Marion Reed.

Allmon was a retired millwright. He was a member of Marble Hill Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Karen Rives of Marble Hill, Dr. Donna Allmon of Burfordville, Mo.; a brother, Everett Allmon Jr. of Corning, Ark.; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, and three sisters.

There is no visitation or funeral.

Liley Funeral Home at Marble Hill is in charge of arrangements.
