Jody Robert Geiser, 52, of Jackson died Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Southeast Hospital.
He was born April 24, 1969, in Cape Girardeau to William and Chantal Wigger Geiser.
He was a 1988 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School, where he played football and wrestled.
He worked for Burlington Northern Railroad for nine years and then managed the family business.
Jody liked shooting firearms and coaching his son's sports activities. Jody, his father and J.D. King developed the largest gun show between St. Louis and Memphis, Tennessee.
Survivors include his mother, Chantal Geiser of Cape Girardeau; a son, Coleton Geiser of Jackson; and a half-brother, Bill Ray Geiser of Dutchtown.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
