CHAFFEE -- Joanna Glueck, 71, of Chaffee died Sunday, April 11, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 27, 1927, in St. Joseph, Tenn., daughter of Joe and Anna Mae Reischman Kluesner. She and Ervin S. Glueck were married June 19, 1954.
Glueck had worked at Harmon Furniture Co. and International Hat Co. in Oran. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and Daughters of St. Ambrose.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Richard Glueck of Scott City, David and Steven Glueck of Chaffee; two daughters, Judy Wood of St. Louis, and Mary Brown of Olympia, Wash.
Also surviving are three brothers, Eugene Kluesner of Oran, Bernard Kluesner of Cape Girardeau, Joseph Kluesner of Jackson; five sisters, Alberta Lumdgoen of Big Horn, Wyo., Mildred Kirchdoerfer of Cape Girardeau, Ernestine Bueter of Advance, Verneda Hooper and Catherine Elfrink of Oran; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ambrose Church, with the Rev. Ralph Duffner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
