Joann Elizabeth Reiker, 80, of Jackson, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020, at The Villas of Jackson. She was born Oct. 4, 1939, in Cape Girardeau to Frank and Leona Beeson Willis. She and Robert E. Reiker were married Dec. 30, 1961, at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau. Joann Elizabeth Reiker, 80, of Jackson, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020, at The Villas of Jackson.

She was born Oct. 4, 1939, in Cape Girardeau to Frank and Leona Beeson Willis. She and Robert E. Reiker were married Dec. 30, 1961, at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death Sept. 12, 1988.

Joann was a 1957 graduate of Cape Catholic High School.

She was the office manager for Wiggs Insurance Agency.

She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral.

Survivors include daughters, Beth (Dan) Powers of Gilbert, Arkansas, and Becky (Randy Sample) Reiker of Scott City; sister, Jeannine (the late Ronald) Owens of Cape Girardeau; grandchildren, Anna (Blake) Ammerman, Robert (Sara) Powers, Devin (Randi) Powers and Kaitlyn (fiance Jacob Tollison) Powers; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Willis; mother, Leona Dennis; husband, Robert E. Reiker; infant daughter, Renee Reiker; infant brother, Rodney Paul Willis; and sister, Frankie Schott.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to Jeff Kondrad Memorial Scholarship Fund at Southeast Missouri State University.
