SCOTT CITY -- Funeral mass for Mrs. JoAnn Elizabeth Fuemmeler of Scott City will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Roger Leveillee will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home here after 3 p.m. today. The rosary will be at 7:30 by Cape Girardeau KC Council 1111, and parish prayers at 8.
Mrs. Fuemmeler, 77 years old, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 1991, at her home.
She was born Jan. 9, 1914, in Glennonville, daughter of Herman and Martha Vanderfeltz Prenger. She married Henry Augustus Fuemmeler May 14, 1943.
Mrs. Fuemmeler was a retired nurse aide from St. Francis Medical Center. She was a member of St. Joseph Church and its Ladies Sodality, and St. Francis Retired Employees Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Jerry Blank, Steve and Dave Fuemmeler of Cape, Donald Fuemmeler of Eureka; two daughters, Carolyn Deken of Poplar Bluff, Linda Hirtz of Jackson, Miss.; a brother, Arthur Prenger of Glennonville; a sister, Christine Pounders of Memphis, Tenn., and 15 grandchildren.
