Joann Vandeven Arnzen of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, June 9, 2020, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

A funeral Mass will be offered at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent Catholic Church. A celebration of life will be from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Elks Club.

Due to COVID-19, attendees are asked to wear a mask at the church and reception. In order to do your part and to be respectful of reducing the spread of the virus, you are also asked to refrain from personal contact with one another, keeping the 6-foot suggested spacing. The family would like to encourage attendees, instead of sharing an embrace, to practice one of Joann's signature trademark traditions: a wink or thumbs up to one another.
