Joan Rae Anderson, 88, of Jackson passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born March 3, 1933, daughter of the late Ray and Mary Pigman Perkins. Survivors include her son, Russell (Julie) Anderson of Cape Girardeau; daughter, Rose Marie (Michael) Altom of Fernly, Nevada; brother, Bob Perkins of Britt, Iowa; and seven grandchildren...

Joan Rae Anderson, 88, of Jackson passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 3, 1933, daughter of the late Ray and Mary Pigman Perkins.

Survivors include her son, Russell (Julie) Anderson of Cape Girardeau; daughter, Rose Marie (Michael) Altom of Fernly, Nevada; brother, Bob Perkins of Britt, Iowa; and seven grandchildren.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Marvin, Al, Ronnie, Jerry and Delbert; and six sisters, June, Alice, Ramona, Patty, Karen and Kathy.

There are no services planned at this time.

Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
