Jo Allen Myers, 74, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
She was born June 9, 1944, in Niles, Michigan, to Zephyre and Eileen Gephart Martin. She and Nicholas Myers Sr. were married Oct. 28, 1962, at Kankakee, Illinois. He preceded her in death Jan. 24, 1995.
She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church in Cape Girardeau
Her top priority was taking care of her family. She loved being a hostess at Burger King in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include her two daughters, Charlotte (Stephen) Porterfield of Dongola, Illinois, and Angelina (Adrian) Padilla-Hernandez of Texas; five sons, Darrell (Mia) Myers of Cape Girardeau, Nicholas S. Myers Jr. of Saint Louis, Rueben (Brooke) Myers of McClure, Illinois, Mike (Aretta) Myers of Jackson and Julio (Liza) Myers of Paducah, Kentucky; a sister, Karol Stamp of Tamms, Illinois; five brothers, Skip Martin of Golconda, Illinois, Frank Martin of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Tex Martin of Texas, Bobby Martin of Anna, Illinois, and Lyle Brown of Albuquerque; 20 grandchildren, Justin, Emily, Megan, Danielle (Will), Gregory, Katie, Abby, Maddie, Dakota, Juliana, Gretchen, Rueben Jr., Blue, Codie (Jen), Kyler, Julian, Javier, Miguel, Adrian Jr. and Katrina; and six great-grandchildren, Cameryn, Avery, McKenna, Owen, Raelynn and Clayton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two daughters, Nancy and Joyce Jean Myers; three sisters, Rosalie Kimberlin, Sandy Eddings and Lorraine Brown; and a brother, Durward Martin.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will follow at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Pastor Phil Roop officiating. Burial will be at Lindsey Cemetery in McClure.
