Jo Ella Ryan

Jo Ella Mae Ryan, 77, of Naperville, Ill., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, Nov. 18, 2005, at Manor Care Nursing Home in Naperville.

She was born Dec. 15, 1927, in Kansas City, Kan., daughter of Edward C. and Rose K. Wittrock Mullins. She and Jerry D. Ryan were married April 18, 1951, in Cape Girardeau.

Ryan attended Hanover Lutheran Church School and was a 1945 graduate of the former College High School. She moved to Naperville in 1981 from Clinton, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Patricia "Tricia" Nader of Naperville; two sons, Edward Ryan of Clinton, Dennis Ryan of Bettendorf, Iowa; a sister, Edda Wittich of Murphysboro, Ill.; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Old Hanover Church, with the Rev. Robert Azinger officiating. Burial will be in Hanover Cemetery.
