Jo Ann Mayberry, 80, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023, at Southeast Hospital.

She was born June 22, 1942, in Hayti, Missouri, the daughter of Calvin Coolidge and Lucille Henderson Brazier. She married Albert "AP" Mayberry on April 10, 1977, at Kornthal Church in Jonesboro, Illinois.

She was a member of Valley Mission Baptist Church for many years. She will be missed by all her family and friends.

Jo Ann is survived by her two sons, Ricky Lee (Kim) Aaron and Danny Aaron, both of Cape Girardeau; stepchildren, Wayne E. Mayberry, Jean Moore, Glenda Mayberry, Linda Woods, Diane Hines and Jerry Miles; two grandchildren, Rickki Aaron and Rickelle Aaron; four great-grandchildren, Shiloh, Adien, Bell Bell and Jeffrey; siblings, Mary Wallace of Nashville, Tennessee, Francis Lesley of Amory, Mississippi, Mike Brazier of Hayti, Virginia McClendon of Dawson Springs, Kentucky, and Kathy Alexander of Caruthersville, Missouri; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert "AP" Mayberry; infant sister, Connie Brazier; and two brothers, Gary and David Brazier.

Family and friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Illinois.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, at the funeral home, with the Rev. James McLane officiating. Interment will be in Valley Mission Cemetery.
