WHITEWATER -- Funeral service for Jimmy Dean Gilles of Whitewater will be held at 2 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Chapel in Jackson. The Rev. Virgil Bunch will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 8:30 a.m. to service time.
Gilles, 42, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 1994, in a car accident on Highway 25 North of Bloomfield.
He was born June 29, 1953, in Fulton, son of Aaron and Marie Armstrong Gilles. He and Linda Ulrich were married Aug. 3, 1975.
Gilles moved to Whitewater in 1983 from Cape Girardeau. He had worked at Florsheim Shoe Co. in Cape Girardeau 19 years, and for the past two years had worked at Lee-Rowan in Jackson. He was a member of Whitewater United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Christy and Shanna Gilles of the home; his mother of Cape Girardeau, and a brother, Jerry Gilles of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his father.
