JACKSON -- Funeral service for Jimmie Charles Revelle of St. Louis will be held at 1 p.m. today at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel. The Revs. Nolan Melton and Jimmy Brown will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to service time.

Revelle, 54, died Saturday, July 19, 1997, at Birchway Health Care Center in St. Louis.

He was born Sept. 16, 1942, in Kennett, son of A.J. and Juanita Best Revelle. He married Carol Ann Eakins May 25, 1973.

Revelle had worked in the surgical unit at Alexian Brothers Hospital in St. Louis.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Jimmie Revelle of Cleveland, Tenn.; two daughters, Brenda Macks and Bonnie Quick of Pensacola, Fla.; a stepson, Jerry Amsden of St. Louis; his mother, Juanita Wisdon of Lodi, Calif.; his father; a brother, Bobbie Revelle of Lodi; three half brothers, Jerry, Lee, and Don, all of Lodi; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.
