JIMMIE POOLE

TAMMS, Ill. -- Jimmie Lee Poole, 62, of Tamms died Saturday, Oct. 30, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Aug. 12, 1937, at Mill Creek, son of Manford and Effie Lorene Sims Poole. He was a former employee of Illinois Mineral and Georgia Kalin at Elco.

Survivors include his wife, Josephine Pearl Dakin Poole; three sons, James Ray Poole and Billy Poole, both of Tamms, and Mike Poole of Mill Creek; a daughter, Rebecca Nale of Tamms; two brothers, Gene Poole of Lake of Egypt and Donald Ray Poole of Elco; three sisters, Wanda Sue Goodin of Towncreek, Ala., Peggy Smith and Shelby Webb, both of McClure; and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Jones Funeral Home at Tamms.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Larry Buckles will officiate, with burial to follow at St. John's Cemetery near Dongola.
