Jim A. Ritter, 70, of Scott City died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Friday, Sept. 8, 1944, in St. Louis.
He is survived by a sister, Charlotte (Michael) Donovan; a niece, Deanna (Johnnie) Teal; and a nephew, Jason Donovan, all of Scott City.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leo A. Ritter, and mother, Zella M. Gremaud Ritter.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri.
The funeral will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating.
Burial will be at Valle Spring Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
