SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Jim Lemonds of Sikeston will be held at 11 a.m. today at Ponder Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jim Guffie will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Lemonds, 64, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 1992, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

He was born Jan. 18, 1928, at Kennett, son of Lee and Edith Bilderback Lemonds. He and Sue Sullinger were married March 15, 1947, in Piggott, Ark.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Suzanne Alsup of Sikeston; a sister, Nadine McComb of Kennett, and two grandchildren.
