CHAFFEE -- Funeral for Jim Kinnison of Chaffee will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. Joe Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the chapel after 6 p.m. today.

Kinnison, 70, died Monday, April 3, 2000, at his home.

He was born Jan. 7, 1930, in St. Louis, son of Hariam and Nettie Tippin Kinnison. He and Dee Hopper were married Jan. 21, 1950.

Kinnison retired as a wire winder from Triangle Wire Co. in Sikeston, and owned the Toddle Inn in Chaffee eight years.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Sherry Reiminger and Brenda Estes of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Alma Carlton of Jackson; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
