Jim James, 79, of Millersville, died Thursday, May 23, 1996, at his home.
He was born Aug. 10, 1916, at Mayfield, son of Enoch and Selley Angel James. He and Eula Long were married Oct. 11, 1938. She died Jan. 19, 1974. He and Phyllis Angel were married April 16, 1976.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jerry and Terry James of Marble Hill, Jimmy James of Millersville; a daughter, Linda Sperling of Millersville; a stepson, Terry Angel of Sedgewickville; two sisters, Eula Cook and Dorothy McIntyre of Jackson; two half brothers, Carl Pulliam of St. Louis, Arnold Pulliam of Potosi; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, five brothers, six sisters and a great-grandson.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 3 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Jess Mills and Jerry Sander officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
