McGEE, Mo. -- Jim Gribler, 82, of McGee died Friday, March 9, 2001, at the Advance Nursing Center in Advance, Mo.
He was born June 27, 1918, son of John and Henrietta Fagger Gribler.
He had lived in the McGee area all his life. He was a member of the Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church near Zalma, Mo.
Survivors include his wife, Lela Gribler of Zalma; two daughters, Geraldine Richardson of South Roxana, Ill, and Wilma Jean McKelvey of Camden, Ark.; a brother, Henry Gribler of St. Louis; two sisters, Mary Smith of McGee and Betty Gribler of Lowndes, Mo.; a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Mo.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Loyd Greene officiating.
Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in McGee.
