GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Jim S. Foster, 63, of Glenallen died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 25,1942, at Glenallen, son of Silvy J. and Clara Mae Crader Foster. He and Bertha M. Roe were married Nov. 25, 1962.
Mr. Foster worked as a machinist, repairman for Clark Appliance, at Procter & Gamble and owned and operated Do Duds Laundromat. He was of the Baptist belief, and a member of NRA.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha; a son, Kevin Foster of Scott City; four brothers, Clemo and David Foster of Glenallen, Jessie Foster of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Jack Foster of Marble Hill, Mo.; three sisters, Bonnie Schuchmann of St. Louis, Faye Mock of Dexter, Mo., Glenda Baker of Marble Hill; and three grandchildren, Megan, Reeanna and Joshua Foster.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Gene Robbins and Bill McCormick officiating. Burial will be in Grassy Friendship Cemetery.
