BENTON, Mo. -- James Robert "Jim Bob" Davis, 52, of Kennett, Mo., died Monday, Jan. 8, 2001, at his home.

He was born July 2, 1948, in Cape Girardeau, son of Robert M. and Glenda R. May Davis.

Davis moved to Kennett from Benton. He was a member of Benton United Methodist Church. He was a machine operator at Magee Co. in Piggott, Ark.

Survivors include two sons, Robbie and Shane Davis of Sikeston, Mo.; his mother, Glenda Schott of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Joe Bill Davis of Benton; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton from 2-5 p.m. Saturday.
