VILLA RIDGE, Ill. -- Jewell Wilson, 88, of South Elgin, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 1995, at Heritage Manor in Elgin.
She was born July 6, 1907, in Vienna, daughter of William Henry and Louisa Wickham Lasley. She married Talmadge "Pete" Wilson, who died Feb. 24, 1989.
Formerly of Villa Ridge, Wilson retired from Elgin National Watch Co.
Survivors include a son, James Wilson of South Elgin; three brothers, Virgil Lasley of Phoenix, Ariz., Henry Lasley of Cottonwood, Ariz., Johnny Lasley of Moline; three sisters, Mary Hogue of Carbondale, Anna Heisner of Centralia, Emma Tucker of Quincy; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers and a sister.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Spencer Heights Cemetery in Mounds. The Rev. F.M. Speakman will officiate.
Crain Funeral Home at Ullin is in charge of arrangements.
