ANNA, Ill. -- Jewell Marie Watkins, 93, of Anna died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999, at City Care Center in Anna. She was born April 1, 1906, in Union County, daughter of Willis M. and Narola Iona Yates Treece. She married Raymond Watkins in 1930. He died in 1952...

ANNA, Ill. -- Jewell Marie Watkins, 93, of Anna died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999, at City Care Center in Anna.

She was born April 1, 1906, in Union County, daughter of Willis M. and Narola Iona Yates Treece. She married Raymond Watkins in 1930. He died in 1952.

She is survived by a sister, Blonn Earnhart of Anna.

She also was preceded in death by a daughter.

She was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Union County.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Ebenezer Hall Cemetery, with the Rev. Paul Sadler officiating.

Friends may call at the cemetery after 10:45 a.m. Saturday.

Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
