JEWELL VIOLET DAVIS

SIKESTON -- Jewell Violet Davis, 83, of Sikeston, died Saturday, June 22, 1991, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Oct. 7, 1907, in Harrisburg, Ark., daughter of James Henry and Katie Florence Presley Davis.

She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Sikeston.

Survivors include a half-sister, Jessie Blaylack, Sikeston; two half-nieces, Betty Jean Brown, Cape Girardeau and Demetra Dollar, Sikeston.

She was preceded in death by her step-father, one half-sister and a half-nephew.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel with the Rev. Kelly Grubbs officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
