Jewell C. Fowler, 94 of Scott City died Monday, May 30, 2016, in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Dec. 10, 1921, in Delta to Otis Millard and Bertha Kynion Smith.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two sons, Mike Fowler and Dale Bollinger of Scott City; three daughters, Nadine (Bill) Scoggin and Betty (Dennis) Thomas of Hillsboro, Missouri, and Becky Whitlatch of Scott City; two sisters, Myrtle Steimle and Annie Cobb of Chaffee, Missouri; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Christine Bollinger; two brothers; three sisters; and a grandson, Scotty Thomas.
Visitation will be from noon until the time of service Friday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with Jimmy Smiley officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
