ST. CHARLES, Mo. -- Jewel Marie Farris, 78, of St. Charles passed away Friday, Dec. 27, 2019, in St. Charles.
She was born July 7, 1941, in Jackson, daughter of Leslie and Jessie Isadora Sander Ackman.
Jewel worked in the banking industry holding various positions throughout her working career in the St. Charles area.
Loving survivors include one daughter, Theresa (Mike) Schultz of St. Charles; two sons, Alan Christopher Farris of Jackson and Philip Farris of Hazelwood, Missouri; one daughter-in-law, Sharon Farris; and one future daughter-in-law, Jenny.
Also surviving are four grandchildren, Jeremy, Burgundy, Dustin and Brian; and two great-grandchildren, Emily and Austin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and a son, Jeffrey Farris.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Haynes Chapel Church near Burfordville.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the church. Interment will be in Haynes Chapel Church Cemetery.
The family suggests contributions be made to the family to cover final expenses.
