SIKESTON -- Jestina "Tina" Johnson, 69, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
She was born Oct. 26, 1929, in Catron, the daughter of Sam and Sarah Gayles Robinson.
Survivors include two daughters, Gloria Wade and Jeanette McCaster of Sikeston; two sons, the Rev. James Robinson of Sikeston and Julius Robinson of Detroit; three brothers, Johnny Robinson, Calvin Robinson and Tommy Robinson of Chicago; a sister, Lulu Robinson of Chicago; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Johnson was employed by National Lock for many years. She also was a member of the Straight Street Full Gospel Church in Sikeston.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the Williams-Farr & Purnell Funeral Home in Sikeston.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. James Robinson will officiate, and burial will be in Sunset of Memories Cemetery.
