Jessie Katherene "Kay" Reavis, 71, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at her home.
She was born Feb. 18, 1942, in Cape Girardeau and was the beloved daughter of Cloyd E. and Helen K. McCullough Reavis.
Jessie was a manager at Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. in St. Louis for 25 years and later worked at Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Cape Girardeau for 10 years.
She is survived by her two sisters. She was the dear aunt to her nieces, Kelly Isringhaus, Kimberly Link and Karry Quirion. She also was the aunt to one niece, three nephews, three great-nieces, nine-great nephews and one great-great-nephew
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one nephew
Private burial will be at a later date in Lindsey Cemetery, McClure, Ill.
Kay was a breast cancer survivor, and in lieu of flowers, the family asks a donation be made to a breast cancer charity.
