SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for Jessie Pearl Hensley of Scott City will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Rev. Terry Eades will officiate, with burial in Lightner Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday.

Hensley, 87, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Nov. 7, 1906, in Tolu, Ky., daughter of Thomas and Leona Harris Burton. She married Eskew Benjamin Hensley, who died March 15, 1966.

Hensley was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include Harold Hensley of Cahokia, Ill., Bill Hensley of Paducah, Ky., Paul Hensley of Olympia, Wash.; three sisters, Lula McFall of Dexter, Marie Burns of Scott City, Lucille Lane of Chaffee; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.
