Funeral service for Jessie McCutchen of Memphis, Tenn., was held Thursday at Memphis Funeral Home. The Rev. Gamble officiated, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery there.
McCutchen, 95, died Monday, Jan. 13, 1992, in a Sheffield, Ala., hospital.
She was born Dec. 15, 1896, at Caruthersville, daughter of E.R. and Ada Jane Kelley Nichols. She married Dr. Jack McCutchen, who preceded her in death.
McCutchen was superintendent of the Beginners Sunday School Department at Belleview Baptist Church in Memphis for 50 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Shopfeur of Memphis, Jackie Cromer of Nashville, Tenn.; a son, Richard McCutchen of Sheffield; a sister, Viola Garber of Cape Girardeau; nine grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
