EAST PRAIRIE -- Jessie Elkins, 79, of East Prairie, died Monday, Nov. 23, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was born Jan. 30, 1913, in Howe, Okla., daughter of Martin Luther and Pearl Effie Barnett Allbritton. She married John Elkins June 3, 1971...

EAST PRAIRIE -- Jessie Elkins, 79, of East Prairie, died Monday, Nov. 23, 1992, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Jan. 30, 1913, in Howe, Okla., daughter of Martin Luther and Pearl Effie Barnett Allbritton. She married John Elkins June 3, 1971.

Survivors include her husband; four sons, Earl Love of Steele, Carl Love of Gosnell, Ark., Mack Love of East Prairie, Johnny Love of Blytheville, Ark.; a daughter, Frances Curtis of East Prairie; 37 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons and two grandsons.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at McMikle Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Friday.
