Funeral for Jessie Marie Callahan Edgar of Cuba, Mo., will be held at 2 p.m. today at Britton Brothers Funeral Home in Steelville, Mo. The Rev. Harrison Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Martin Cemetery in Cherryville, Mo.

Edgar, 79, died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2000, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in Sullivan, Mo.

She was born Sept. 2, 1920, at Czar, Mo., daughter of Walter and Mary Moses Dunlap. She married Noah D. Callahan, who died in 1980. She later married William H. Edgar, who died July 20, 1993.

Survivors include three daughters, Ruby Reed of Cuba, Mo., Barbara Elder of Cedar Hill, Mo., Darlene Younce of Cape Girardeau; a son, Richard Callahan of Cherryville; a sister, Ida Spriggs of St. Ann, Mo.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.
