SIKESTON -- Jessie Didama Grant, 99, Sikeston Route 1, died Wednesday, March 9, 1994, at her home. She was born April 3, 1894, at Burfordville, daughter of Dr. William and Revie Rosetta Hartle Smith. She and Jasper Ernest Grant were married Oct. 22, 1919. He died Dec. 9, 1946...

SIKESTON -- Jessie Didama Grant, 99, Sikeston Route 1, died Wednesday, March 9, 1994, at her home.

She was born April 3, 1894, at Burfordville, daughter of Dr. William and Revie Rosetta Hartle Smith. She and Jasper Ernest Grant were married Oct. 22, 1919. He died Dec. 9, 1946.

Grant had lived in Sikeston since 1900, and was a former member of Order of Eastern Star at Morley.

Survivors include a son, Warren Grant of Morley; six grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, three sisters and a grandson.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Jim Matthews will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park at Cape Girardeau.
