JESSIE BURRELL

ANNISTON -- Jessie Roland Burrell, 50, of Anniston died Wednesday, June 10, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, following an extended illness.

He was born March 2, 1948, in Blythe, Calif., son of Jessie Joseph Emmanuel and Ann Yielding Burrell. He and Linda McClain were married May 26, 1972.

Burrell had lived in Mississippi County most of his life. He was a mechanic, and attended Full Gospel Church in East Prairie.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jessie Burrell Jr. of Benton, Billy Burrell of East Prairie, John Burrell of Anniston; a daughter, Sondra Baker of Anniston; his mother of East Prairie; three sisters, Bertha Gore of Sikeston, Dixie Baker of Brookport, Ill., Joyce Henderson of East Prairie; and a granddaughter.

Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Dogwood Cemetery, with Mike Johnson officiating.

Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.
