PERRYVILLE -- Jesse C. Abernathy, 75, of Perryville died Saturday, Oct. 10, 1992 at the Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 1, 1918 in Perry County, the son of Albert and Addie Abernathy Abernathy.

He married Mildred Clifton on Sept. 14, 1947. She survives of Perryville.
Other survivors are two daughters, Susan Moloney of Ste. Genevieve and Shirley Davis of Sikeston; one brother, Brooks Abernathy of St. Louis and one sister, Hilda Holmes of St. Louis; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville. Funeral service will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Young & Sons Chapel with the Rev. Ed Hankinson officiating. Burial will be in York Chapel Methodist Cemetery.
