Jerry D. Williamson, 64, of Millersville died Monday, March 3, 2008, at his home. He was born July 10, 1943, in Essex, Mo., son of Jacob Ledford and Edna Grubbs Williamson Sr. He and Saundra Clark were married Sept. 3, 1966. Williamson was a sheet metal fabricator 17 years. He retired from the former Marquette Cement Co. in January 1999, after more than 20 years of service. He was a member of Jackson Excelsior Lodge No. 441...

Jerry D. Williamson, 64, of Millersville died Monday, March 3, 2008, at his home.

He was born July 10, 1943, in Essex, Mo., son of Jacob Ledford and Edna Grubbs Williamson Sr. He and Saundra Clark were married Sept. 3, 1966.

Williamson was a sheet metal fabricator 17 years. He retired from the former Marquette Cement Co. in January 1999, after more than 20 years of service. He was a member of Jackson Excelsior Lodge No. 441.

He served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Max Williamson of Millersville; three brothers, Ray Williamson of Bloomfield, Mo., Dale Williamson of Denton, Texas, and J.L. Williamson of Poplar Bluff, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
