Jerry Wayne Pasley, 75, of Oriole passed away Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019, at St. John's Mercy Hospital in St. Louis. He was born Jan. 31, 1944, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Thurman and Jewell Johnson Pasley. He and Kathryn J. "Net" Lunsford of Leemon were married June 17, 1987. They had been married 28 years when Net passed away July 24, 2015...

Jerry Wayne Pasley, 75, of Oriole passed away Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019, at St. John's Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Jan. 31, 1944, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Thurman and Jewell Johnson Pasley. He and Kathryn J. "Net" Lunsford of Leemon were married June 17, 1987. They had been married 28 years when Net passed away July 24, 2015.

Jerry and Net were members of North Cape Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Jerry held the position as lead man on a river boat. He enjoyed restoring old sewing machines and gardening.

Survivors include daughters, Jerri Lynne Pasley of Byhalia, Mississippi, and Sarah (William) Grebing of Frohna, Missouri; sons, Tom "Brute" Edmonds (fiancee, Caitlin) of Glen Allen, Missouri, and Steve (Mary) Edmonds of Jackson; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and sister, Lavelle (Darrell) Clare of Pangburn, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two brothers and a sister.

A memorial visitation will be from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Friday at North Cape Girardeau County Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Cape Girardeau.

Jason Harris will officiate a memorial service at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the church.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Cremation was accorded by McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to Iona Cemetery, c/o Penny Johns; 405 Oak Forest Drive; Jackson, MO 63755.
