De SOTO, Mo. -- Jerry L. Owen, 78, of De Soto died Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013.
He was the beloved husband of Barbara Bond Owen; dear father of Melanie (Chris) Osborn and Christopher Owen of St. Louis; grandfather to Erin (Steve) Schmidt, Conrad Osborn, Emelia Osborn, Elani Owen and Alison Owen.
A memorial gathering will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., De Soto.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with John Alfred White officiating.
