KARNAK, Ill. -- Jerry Jackson Hale, 61, of Karnak, died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999, at the home of his daughter at Paducah, Ky.

He was born July 10, 1938, at London, Ky., son of Marshall and Ada Jackson Hale. He was a self-employed carpenter and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

Survivors include three daughters, Kathy Hale of Dayton, Ohio, Holly Carlson of Paducah, Ky., and Jeriann Youman of Metropolis; a son, Timothy Bying of Escondido, Calif.; a sister, Michalee Whybrew of Tipp City, Ohio; a brother, Herbert Hale of Indianapolis, Ind.; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Wilson Funeral Home at Karnak.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Robert Stubblefield will officiate, with burial to follow at the Masonic Cemetery at Cypress. Graveside military rites will be conducted.
