JACKSON, Mo. -- Funeral for Jerry W. Dickerson of Jackson will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. John Goff will officiate. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau. Friends may call at the chapel from 11 a.m. until time of service.
Dickerson, 50, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 13, 1950, in Blytheville, Ark., son of Norman and Louise Austin Dickerson.
Dickerson was a farm laborer.
Survivors include a brother, Robert "Bob" Dickerson of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Naomi Blackburn, Lillian Stroud and Vivian Parham of Carbondale, Ill., and Nola Bland of Kampsville, Ill.
