PUXICO -- Funeral service for Jerry Blackburn of Puxico will be held at 1 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico. The Rev. Marshall Link will officiate, with burial in Stanfield Cemetery near Clarkton.

Blackburn, 56, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 1997, at his home.

He was born Nov. 14, 1941, at Holcomb, son of Robert R. and Helen Champ Blackburn.

He had lived in Puxico since 1988, and was a maintenance worker at Puxico Teen Town. He was a member of Stanfield Missionary Baptist Church at Clarkton.

Survivors include his mother; and a brother, Winfred Blackburn, both of Puxico.
