JACKSON -- Jerry Andrew Mouser, 59, of Shumway, Ill., died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 1995, in Shumway.
He was born Nov. 21, 1935, in Millersville, son of Willie and Reda Runnels Mouser. He and Mariam Blair were married Sept. 28, 1985.
Mouser was an auto transport driver. He was a member of Effingham Masonic Lodge in Effingham, Ill., and Ainad Shrine Temple in East St. Louis, Ill. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jerry Mouser Jr. of Owensville, Scott Mouser of Cape Girardeau; a stepson, Stephen Barkley of Tulsa, Okla.; five stepdaughters, Debbie Elmore of Teutopolis, Ill., Cynthia Moser, Bethany Blair and Christina Foelsing of St. Louis, Carin Blair of Shumway; four brothers, W.D. Mouser of St. Louis, Vernon Mouser of Jackson, Milton Mouser of Millersville, Larry Mouser of Jonesboro, Ark.; a sister, Lois Neimann of Jackson; three grandchildren, and four stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and sister.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday. A Masonic service will be held.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Covington officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
