Jennifer Nicole White, 33, of Scott City passed away Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, at her home. She was born Sept. 21, 1981, at Fort Benning, Georgia, daughter of Connie and Debbie Mayberry White. Jennifer had been a member of Brush Creek Church and was baptized in the Baptist belief. She was a member of United Commercial Travelers and active in SEMO Alliance for Disability Independence (SADI). She loved her dog, Ice. She was a published poet...

Jennifer Nicole White, 33, of Scott City passed away Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, at her home.

She was born Sept. 21, 1981, at Fort Benning, Georgia, daughter of Connie and Debbie Mayberry White.

Jennifer had been a member of Brush Creek Church and was baptized in the Baptist belief. She was a member of United Commercial Travelers and active in SEMO Alliance for Disability Independence (SADI). She loved her dog, Ice. She was a published poet.

Survivors include her mother, Debbie White of Cape Girardeau; father and stepmother, Connie and Pam White of Gordonville; a sister, Amanda (Adam) Wallace of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; a nephew, Clint Wallace; maternal grandfather, Jim Mayberry of Bloomfield, Missouri; two aunts, Julie (Roger) Henderschott of Advance, Missouri, and Vicky Slaughter of Poplar Bluff; and an uncle, Ralph White of Bell City.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Nancy Mayberry; and paternal grandparents, Cletus and Jewel White.

The funeral was Saturday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, with Eric Lemons officiating. Burial was in Berrong Cemetery near Zalma, Missouri.
