Jeffrey Lynn Pinkerton, 37, of Jackson died Friday, Aug. 15, 2003, in an automobile accident near Fruitland. His nephew, Jeremy Nelson Fultz, also died in the accident.
He was born Feb. 7, 1966, in Cape Girardeau, son of James and Lilly Macke Pinkerton. He and Bobbie Dodson were married May 27, 2000, in Jackson.
Pinkerton attended Jackson High School. He had worked at Rubbermaid, attended truck driving school through Schneider's Trucking Co. and worked there two years, and was currently a driver with Genesis Trucking Co.
He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, a Cub Scout leader and was a coach with Jackson Boys League this year.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Chelsea Pinkerton of Jackson; four sons, Shawn Pinkerton and James Crane of Jackson, Collin and Anthony Crane of Ware, Ill.; his mother, Lilly Newell of Jackson; his father, James Pinkerton of St. Louis; a sister, Paula Pickens of Jackson; and paternal grandmother, Hallie Pinkerton of Jackson.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4 to 8 p.m. today, and Monday after 10 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Revs. Robert Henrichs and David Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
