Jeffrey L. Lorenz

PERRYVILLE, Mo.-- Jeffrey L. Lorenz, 43, of Perryville died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Sept. 5, 1966, in Perryville, son of Leo Prost and Rhoda Lorenz. He and Brenda Taylor were married Dec. 29, 1989.

He was a manufacturing lead for Gilster Mary Lee for 23 years. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and graduated from Perryville High School.

Survivors include his wife; a brother, John Lorenz; and two nephews, Shohn Lorenz and Tim Lorenz, both of Perryville.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Young and Sons Chapel.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Brother Phillip Keaton officiating.

Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred for family use.
