JEFFREY HARTY

WAPPAPELLO -- Jeffrey M. Harty, 32, of Wappapello died Thursday, March 23, 2000, from injuries received in an automobile accident near Dudley.

He was born Jan. 24, 1968, in St. Louis, son of Loyd and Judy Clark Harty. He and Lorie Griffin were married July 1, 1989, at Puxico.

Harty had lived at Wappapello since 1973. He was a 1986 graduate of Puxico High School, and member of New Life Baptist Church. He was a heavy equipment operator for Wayne County Road and Bridge.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Clay Harty of the home; a daughter, Makayla Harty of the home; his parents of Wappapello; and paternal grandmother, Iva Harty of Puxico.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico after 4 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Steve Mayo and Larry Underwood officiating. Burial will be in Puxico Cemetery.
