Jeff Reynolds

COBDEN, Ill. — Jeff Reynolds, 47, of rural Cobden died Saturday, March 14, 2009, in the Union County Hospital.

He was born June 15, 1961, in Anna, Ill., son of Paul and Rose Holden Reynolds. Jeff and Cathy Garrett Wheaton were married July 2, 1999, in Jonesboro, Ill.

He was a member of the Anna Moose Lodge and worked most of his life as a carpenter.

Survivors include his wife; parents; three daughters, Melisa Kay Reynolds of Mesa, Ariz., Michelle Renee Reynolds and Christie Nekola, both of Anna; a son, Jeffrey Shane Reynolds of Anna; two brothers, Kevin Reynolds and James Reynolds, both of Cobden; a sister, Karen Burmeister of White Lake, Mich.; and eleven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter and a brother.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bon Reynolds officiating.
