PERKINS, Mo. -- Jeanne R. Pettit, 56, of Perkins died Monday, Sept. 26, 2005, at her home. She was born Aug. 13, 1949, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Lowell and Betty Owens Stephens. She and Don Pettit were married March 8, 1968, in Flint, Mich. Pettit was a 1967 graduate of Advance High School. She was postmaster at the Perkins post office...
PERKINS, Mo. -- Jeanne R. Pettit, 56, of Perkins died Monday, Sept. 26, 2005, at her home.
She was born Aug. 13, 1949, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Lowell and Betty Owens Stephens. She and Don Pettit were married March 8, 1968, in Flint, Mich.
Pettit was a 1967 graduate of Advance High School. She was postmaster at the Perkins post office.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Dallas Pettit of Perkins, Shane Pettit of Oran, Mo., Darin Pettit of Jackson; a brother, Doug Stephens of Zalma, Mo.; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Don Stephens and Rick Crump officiating. Burial will be in Williams Cemetery at Perkins.
