Jean Ann McLaird, 75, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016, at her home.
She was born Jan. 21, 1941, in Cape Girardeau to Claude and Mary Lucille Emery Ross.
She worked at King Optical, James Crites Optometry and in home nursing care.
She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau for over 70 years.
She is survived by a son, Steven McLaird of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Mary Campbell of Cape Girardeau; significant other, Robert Hogenmiller of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Mona (Homer) Hamilton of Jackson; and two grandchildren, Steven Campbell and Sena Bonnie-Jean Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kenneth Ross; a brother, Robert Ross; and a sister, Bonnie Dietiker.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service Monday at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the chapel. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
