ADVANCE, Mo. — Jean Langston, 76, of Advance passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017, at her home.
She was born April 2, 1941, in Stoddard County, Missouri, the daughter of Raymond and Ruth McLain Welch.
Jean was a homemaker and a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She attended Brownwood Church. She loved to sing and dance.
Jean and Harlan Langston were united in marriage Nov. 12, 1955, in Stoddard County, and he preceded her in death April 22, 2016.
Survivors include a son, Danny (Pamela) Langston of Puxico, Missouri; two daughters, Teresa Smith of Advance and Evonne (Robert) Richko of Layton, Utah; a brother, Terry McLain of Advance; a sister, Sheila Bradley of Jackson; nine grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Randy Langston; a sister; and a great-grandson, Memphis Rain Reford.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
A funeral service will be at noon Tuesday at the funeral home, with Kevin Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow at Rock Point Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri.
